Calling all young cowboys and cowgirls! The Wayne County World’s Fair Jr. Rodeo gives children ages 2–14 the chance to experience rodeo-style fun in an exciting, family-friendly environment.
Join us on August 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM for an evening filled with races, challenges, and plenty of western fun!
Registration Details
General Registration: $15 per participant Ages: 2–14
General registration includes activities such as:
Ducky Derby
Stick Horse Race
Animal Chase
Ribbon Pull
Boot Scramble
Dummy Roping
Three-Legged Race
And more!
Optional Rodeo Events
Mutton Bustin’: Additional $5
Open to children age 3 and younger who weigh less than 60 pounds
Participants must be able to ride without parental assistance
Space is limited
Steer Riding: Additional $10
Open to children ages 10–14
First-place buckles will be awarded for Mutton Bustin’ and Steer Riding.
Register by August 1 to guarantee a commemorative shirt. Space for the riding events is limited, so register early to secure your child’s spot!
To register multiple children, increase the quantity on the registration form. An additional form will appear for each child so that all participant information can be submitted correctly.
Food, including burgers, pickles, corn on the cob, and more, will be available at the concession stand as part of the WHS Boys Basketball fundraiser.
